Hi, I’m Thom. I’m a student of Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling
with a passion for supporting individuals navigating life transitions, emotional
challenges, and identity shifts. My approach is warm, collaborative, and integrates
trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, narrative work, and structured, skills-
oriented methods.

"When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are
challenged to change ourselves."
- Viktor Frankl
Before coming to Rockland County Counseling, I spent several years working in
disability services and within the brain injury community—experiences that deeply
shaped the way I understand healing, resilience, and the need for care that honors both
the body and mind. I believe healing isn’t about returning to who you were, but about
learning how to move forward with purpose and self-compassion.
I’m especially drawn to working with individuals in moments of redefinition—whether
shaped by life events, evolving identities, or the weight of unspoken stories. In our work
together, I aim to offer a space where you can slow down, feel seen, and take
meaningful steps toward the life you want to build.
