"When you can't control what's happening, challenge yourself to control the way you respond.
That's where your power is."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Greetings! My name is Tara Sparks, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the Practice Manager at Rockland County Counseling. The prospect of contributing to the smooth operation of this practice fills me with excitement, and I am eager to leave a positive and enduring mark in this capacity.
My innate inclination towards listening and learning has always guided me, and I thrive on challenges.
Beyond my professional acumen, I proudly carry the title of breast cancer survivor/thriver since December 23, 2015. This profound experience has imbued me with a fresh perspective and an unwavering commitment to making a meaningful difference. Alongside my virtual assistance expertise, I am deeply passionate about advocating for those affected by breast cancer.
In addition to my life's journey, I have dedicated over a decade to serving in my local school system, nurturing a profound passion for the youth and the troubled. My aim is for everyone to feel loved and supported in their journey toward healing and growth.
On a personal front, I have been happily married for 31 years and blessed with three remarkable sons. Our shared love for nature has been a cornerstone of joy for our family, often leading us on adventures in the great outdoors. As I step into my role at Rockland County Counseling, I pledge to not only fulfill my duties as the Practice Manager but also to cultivate a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that lightens everyone's load.
I eagerly anticipate becoming an integral part of this dynamic community, contributing to the ongoing success and expansion of Rockland County Counseling. Thank you for embracing me, and I am brimming with anticipation for the journey ahead.
